Welcome to Promise Planners (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website promiseplanners.in (“Website”), including all pages, features, content, listings, and services made available through the Website (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing, browsing, or using the Platform, you (“User”, “Customer”, “Vendor”) agree to be bound by these Terms along with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue the use of the Platform.

1. Introduction to Promise Planners

Promise Planners is a wedding planning and vendor discovery platform designed to help users explore, compare, and connect with various wedding service providers (“Vendors”). Our Platform is purely informational and acts only as an intermediary listing service. We do not own, operate, manage, supervise, or control any Vendor services. All Vendor profiles, images, descriptions, pricing details, and availability information are provided directly by the Vendors themselves.

Users may browse wedding venues, photographers, makeup artists, caterers, planners, decorators, and other wedding-related vendors. Any communications, negotiations, bookings, and financial transactions between Users and Vendors take place off the Platform and are not controlled by Promise Planners.

We aim to present accurate and useful information, but we cannot guarantee the completeness, credibility, legality, or quality of any Vendor content displayed on the Platform.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Platform:

  • You confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
  • You agree to access the Platform only for lawful purposes.
  • You understand that Promise Planners is not a party to any contract or agreement made between Users and Vendors.
  • You acknowledge that the Platform may update, revise, or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.

Your continued use of the Platform after any changes signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. Nature of Services Provided

Promise Planners provides:

  • A searchable directory of wedding vendors
  • Vendor profile pages with descriptions, portfolios, images, pricing, reviews, and contact details
  • A platform for Vendors to publish content and showcase services
  • Tools for Users to discover and shortlist vendors
  • A platform for Users to leave reviews and ratings

Promise Planners does NOT:

  • Guarantee Vendor availability, quality, pricing, service timelines, or reliability
  • Offer wedding planning or execution services directly
  • Handle payments or bookings between Users and Vendors
  • Verify Vendor identities beyond basic checks
  • Provide warranties for Vendor services
  • Mediate disputes between Users and Vendors except in limited circumstances (such as platform misuse)

All communications, meetings, contracts, negotiations, and transactions happen directly between the User and the Vendor. Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before booking or paying any Vendor.

4. User Responsibilities

By using the Platform, you agree that:

  1. You will provide truthful and accurate information when interacting on the Platform.
  2. You will not misuse or manipulate the Platform in any way.
  3. You will not use the Platform for illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, abusive, or harmful activities.
  4. You will not scrape, copy, replicate, or reproduce content from the Platform without written permission.
  5. You will not impersonate another individual or create fake accounts.
  6. You will not upload harmful software, viruses, or scripts.

Any misuse of the Platform may result in account suspension or permanent removal.

5. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors listed on Promise Planners are independent businesses who must:

  • Provide accurate, genuine, and updated information about their offerings
  • Upload only their own photos, videos, and content
  • Respond to customer inquiries professionally
  • Deliver services as promised if a contract is made with the User
  • Avoid uploading misleading pricing or false testimonials
  • Follow all applicable laws and regulations in India

Vendors must not upload copyrighted content that they do not own. Vendors are legally responsible for any copyright infringement, defamation, or fraudulent information they publish.

Promise Planners retains the right to remove or suspend a Vendor profile for violations.

6. User-Generated Content (UGC)

Users may upload reviews, photos, text, feedback, or other content. By submitting UGC, you agree that:

  • You own or have the rights to publish the content
  • Your content does not violate any copyright laws
  • Your content is truthful and not defamatory
  • You grant Promise Planners a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, display, modify, publish, or distribute the content on the Platform
  • You are fully responsible for any legal repercussions arising from your content

We may remove any UGC that violates our guidelines or appears inappropriate, false, abusive, or promotional.

7. Reviews and Ratings

Promise Planners allows Users to post reviews based on their real experiences. The following rules apply:

  • Reviews must be genuine and unbiased.
  • Vendors must not post fake reviews or ask their employees, friends, or family to do so.
  • Reviews must not contain abusive, defamatory, or discriminatory language.
  • Vendors may request clients to share feedback but may not incentivize them with discounts, gifts, or rewards.
  • Promise Planners may delete or edit reviews that violate guidelines.

Reviews are designed to help other Users make informed decisions but Promise Planners does not guarantee their accuracy.

8. No Booking, Payment, or Contract Responsibility

Promise Planners does not handle or facilitate:

  • Payments
  • Deposits
  • Advance bookings
  • Cancellations
  • Refunds
  • Contract management
  • Service delivery

All such activities occur directly between the User and the Vendor.

We do not receive any commission from Users for bookings made off the Platform.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Platform including:

  • Text
  • Graphics
  • Logos
  • Icons
  • Layout
  • Illustrations
  • Website design
  • Brand assets

is owned by or licensed to Promise Planners and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

Users and Vendors may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, or commercially use any part of the Platform without written permission.

10. Privacy Policy

Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains:

  • How we collect information
  • How we use data
  • What cookies are used
  • How personal data is protected

By using the Platform, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Third-Party Links

The Platform may include links to third-party websites or services for convenience. Promise Planners is not responsible for:

  • Privacy practices of external websites
  • Transactions done on external sites
  • Misrepresentations or fraud by third parties

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

You agree that your use of the Platform is entirely at your own risk.
The Platform is provided “as is”, “as available”, and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Promise Planners does not guarantee that:

  • Vendor information is accurate or up to date
  • Services offered by Vendors are reliable
  • The Platform will be free of errors, interruptions, or viruses
  • Reviews and ratings are authentic
  • User-generated content is legally compliant

We are not responsible for any misrepresentations or errors by Vendors.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Promise Planners is not liable for any:

  • Loss of money
  • Loss of time
  • Loss of data
  • Loss of business
  • Service delays
  • Negligence by Vendors
  • Contract disputes
  • Cancellations, quality issues, or non-performance
  • Fraudulent actions by Vendors or Users

Promise Planners is not responsible for incidents occurring before, during, or after User-Vendor interactions.

Our total liability to you, under any circumstance, shall never exceed INR 1,000.

15. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold Promise Planners harmless from:

  • Claims
  • Damages
  • Losses
  • Legal fees
  • Penalties
  • Disputes arising from:
    • User actions
    • User-generated content
    • Vendor interactions
    • Violations of these Terms

16. Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform for:

  • Policy violations
  • Fraudulent behavior
  • Illegal activity
  • Misuse of content
  • Non-cooperation
  • Repeated complaints

Termination may occur without prior notice.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
All disputes arising from or related to these Terms, the Platform, or Vendor interactions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi NCR.

Users agree that they shall not file any claim outside this territory.

  • Understood the nature and limitations of our Platform
  • Agreed to comply with all rules and responsibilities
  • Accepted that Promise Planners is only a directory platform and not a service provider
